Adelaide Cemeteries cordially invites you to our annual Remembrance Day service at West Terrace Cemetery. The ceremony will be held in the Australian Imperial Forces section, commencing at 10.15 am on Monday 11 November 2024.
The Australian Imperial Forces section holds great significance as the first dedicated military burial ground in Australia and the final resting place of more than 4,000 returned service personnel who served during the First World War. Among those that lay at rest are four Victorian Cross recipients.
There is no RSVP required for members of the general public and limited seating is available for those attending, with priority being given to those with mobility issues.
Adelaide Cemeteries personnel will be on hand to guide guests to parking within the cemetery. There is no right turn into the cemetery from ANZAC Highway. Following the service, vehicles will exit via Wylde Road.
