Current Vacancies

Adelaide Cemeteries is seeking a dedicated Environmental Support Officer to join our team on a part-time (0.6 FTE) 1-year contract basis.

In this role, you will provide administrative and operational support to our environmental management initiatives, contributing to maintainging our ISO14001 environmental certificatioon and the sustainability of our cemeteries.

What you’ll be doing

    • Providing administrative support to our environmental sustainability initiatives, such as coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
    • Assisting with the monitoring and continuous improvement of our environmental management plans and initiatives
    • Conducting site inspections and collating data to support decision-making
    • Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to theour environmental audit programs
    • Supporting the development and delivery of environmental awareness and education campaigns for staff and the community
