All Souls' Day Italian Service

A day of remembrance and prayer for the faithful departed, the All Soul’s Day service for the Italian Catholic community is held on the morning of the second of November each year. A Catholic Priest leads the service after which attendees join in a prayerful procession around Enfield Memorial Park.

Following the service and procession there is always ample time for relaxation, conversation and fellowship on the lawns outside the Folland Chapel.

All Souls' Day Vietnamese Service

The Vietnamese Catholic community sees Enfield Memorial Park as a special place of remembrance and gathers here in the late afternoon on 2 November each year for a service of prayer, remembrance and celebration that has a delightful and warm family feeling.

A Catholic Priest delivers the service and leads the faithful from the Folland Lawns to Wisteria Garden where incense is lit, and prayers are offered up. The community then lingers in the garden for refreshments fellowship and family time.

Remembrance Day

The AIF section of West Terrace Cemetery is South Australia’s largest military cemetery and each year hosts Remembrance Day on November 11.

Our Remembrance Day service commemorates the sacrifice of those who served our country in conflicts and those who continue to serve today. Past guest speakers have included distinguished service people, RSL leaders and political figures. The Remembrance Day service at West Terrace Cemetery continues to feature as one of the most respected and well-attended of South Australia’s commemorative events.
