Adelaide Cemeteries have now completed the purchase of the Smithfield Mausoleum from SD Tillet’s and effective immediately will now be responsible for all elements of the Mausoleum including sales, interments, service bookings, inscriptions and regular maintenance.
All current Interment Rights and site tenures remain unchanged and can be confirmed with our office using your Interment Right Number.
Adelaide Cemeteries have been custodians of Smithfield Memorial Park since 2002 and are pleased to take ownership of the Smithfield Mausoleum, bringing it under Adelaide Cemeteries and allowing us to provide the same high-quality service we do to all of our families at Smithfield Memorial Park and across our other three cemeteries at Cheltenham, Enfield and West Terrace.
As part of our purchase, we are planning to invest in the mausoleum and progressing engaging architects with the vision of improving the presentation and upkeep. While there may be some disruptions while the works take place, we appreciate your understanding and will provide advanced notice of these works wherever possible.
