Recent burial research

The Adelaide Cemeteries Authority provides touch screens to assist with general record research on burial and cremation memorials at the following cemetery locations:

• Enfield Memorial Park
• West Terrace Cemetery

The touch screens provide the burial or memorial location for deceased persons located within the cemetery where each touch screen is located. The correct spelling of given names, surname and the date of death is helpful in identifying a deceased person within the touch screen record system.

Family burial research

The Adelaide Cemeteries Authority's cemetery record system manages some 400,000 burial and memorial records for our four cemeteries:

• Enfield Memorial Park
• Cheltenham Cemetery
• Smithfield Memorial Park
• West Terrace Cemetery

If you wish to request a search of cemetery records, please click on the link below to download a Deceased Enquiry Form.  A fee of $13.20 per person searched applies. Please note the cemetery record system has possibly hundreds of entries of persons with the same or similar surname or, in some instances, variation in spelling. Our staff are required to research and cross-check numerous source records to ensure that they have identified the person you are enquiring about.
